Illustration – Color Paint Splatters

An exercise of using the Artistic Ink Brush in Adobe Illustrator to create some colorful paint splatters.

How to create this work?

1. Each color splatter is a mix of artistic ink brushes randomly drawn and grouped together.
2. Made duplicates of the splatter, changed to various colors accordingly and re-position.
3. Only did Expand Appearance of the splatters at final step because once you did it, the colors of the splatters can still be changed but there may be distortion of shape, which is not possible to resume.

The creation of this work is easy but the file size is quite huge and taking quite a lot of time in the file saving and revision.
